• Flying Branch: 38
• Ground Duty (Technical): 165
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 133

The educational qualifications required for the Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2024 vary depending on the branch you are applying for:

1. Flying Branch

Educational Qualification: 

• 10+2: Must have scored at least 50% each in Physics and Mathematics.
• Graduation: Must hold a graduation degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with at least 60% marks, OR
• Engineering Degree: BE/B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks, OR
• Other Qualifications: Cleared sections A and B of the Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks.

2. Ground Duty (Technical Branch)

• Educational Qualification: 
• Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics – AE(L)): 
• Passed 10+2 with 50% in Physics and Mathematics.
• A four-year degree in Engineering/Technology, OR
• Cleared sections A and B of AMIE (India) or ASI with 60% marks.
• Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical – AE(M)): 
• Similar 10+2 requirements.
• A degree in engineering with specialization in Mechanical/Automobile/Aeronautical fields.

3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch)

Educational Qualification: 

Administration/Logistics: 

• Graduation (3 years) in any discipline with 60% marks, OR
• Passed sections A and B of AMIE (India) or ASI with at least 60%.
• Accounts:  B.Com degree with a minimum of 60%.
• Education:  Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50%.

• Written Exam
• AFSB Interview
• Medical Examination

• Upload required documents.
• Pay the ₹250 fee (except NCC special entry).
